StrawberryClock wasn't wearing any underwear!
The King goes commando style.
Author's Response:
well I think we should keep in mind that we're not sure what we were seeing in that scene
was wade fulp imagining the whole thing? was it something he witnessed?!!
I left it for the audience to decide and I think the ambiguity of the conflict really contributed to the themes and mise en scéne ala david lynch or darren aronofsky
thank you for your patronage strangeclock

As I watched this, tears rolled down my face, and wherever they fell, they formed little faces of Bill Murray...
...smiling up at me...

I'm reminded, in scope, of RomanCollar's "Clock Day Ajudication" which was also very big, long and had a boatload of characters and jokes to keep things rolling. It's too bad the filters tend to bog down playback a lot - I'd advise either toning down filters, or saving backgrounds (with filters) as still images and import them, so the filters don't have to be rendered live when the swf is played. I love the references to classic Clock movies and of course Seinfeld.
If you're disappointed with the amount of response you got (this must've taken a lot of work after all), it may in part be to blame on the movie, from the outside (in title and title screen, plus the trailer), looking like a more serious Clock movie, which some Newgrounders seem to dislike and avoid. Having that twist from serious to funny might be jarring for people. Anyway, kudos on your hard work and I recommended it for the collection.

Unfortunately for me I figured out how to best manage being a filter whore and the lag it creates in flash only after I submitted it. A bit too late but o well live and learn as time goes on and I am learning a lot surprisingly. Thanks for the review. It's just no fun without one from you. :'(

Very interesting art style, great sound design, and you make good use of the possibilities of animation for a graphic novel format.
However, and this may end up being a tediously repeated comment: the text disappears a bit fast most of the time. I notice this mostly when text appears in various places on screen and it takes a fraction of a second to focus on a different area (for instance near the end, when the prince has a conversation over the phone).
I'd recommend either lengthening the time text appears a little more, or indeed look into using voice actors to narrate things -- it's just another element you can take advantage of since it's presented in Flash form rather than on paper.

It's like a fashionably late, vein-swollen thrusting, pumping afterthought. Httth.
